The first mainstream mental health tracker
Problem
Rates of mental illness and mental un-health are rising alarmingly fast. We’re more tired, anxious, burned-out, and depressed than ever.
It’s difficult to improve what you can’t measure, and our ability to measure our mental health is severely limited.
While tools exist for measuring and optimizing your physiology (heart-rate, glucose levels) and habits (sleep tracking, workout tracking), your psychology (mood, energy level) largely goes unmeasured. This makes mental illness harder to manage, mental wellness more difficult to maintain, and mental fitness more challenging to optimize.
Solution
Our goal is to create the first mainstream mental health tracker. Through this, we expect to help people to feel better, have more energy, and be better equipped to deal with mental illness.
While Even Mind tracks your mood, it is not your typical mood tracker. To capture the most precise dataset possible, Even Mind prompts you to record your psychology at random moments throughout the day. This type of user experience, where you periodically interrupt users, is very hard to get right and typically results in high degrees of churn. Users love Even Mind however, and we consistently see day-28 open rates north of 70%.
This precise tracking and high retention rate give us a significantly richer dataset (vs. competitors) from which to make recommendations for mental health, wellness, and fitness.
The best way to understand Even Mind is to give it a try here.
